Visitation

Visitation

It is possible to agree on visitation outside of court, or to bring forth a case in court and let the judge decide in a judgment. It is in our firm belief, and the court’s belief, that visitation must accommodate the child as well as both parents. At Eskin & Eskin, we are experienced in working with attorneys for the children, when necessary.

Any visitation agreement must be specific and realistic. Our thorough approach is meant to ensure that a visitation agreement specifies a time and place to transfer the child and covers the details of each holiday that may cause a deviation from the agreement. Parents should not worry that just because they are separating or divorcing they will never see their child again. Our goal is to negotiate a plan that works for the whole family, so that, when appropriate, the child gets to spend quality time with both of his or her parents.
